Roscosmos Chief Confirms Authenticity of American Moon Landings

In a recent parliamentary session, Yury Borisov, the head of Russia’s Roscosmos space agency, addressed conspiracy theories questioning the authenticity of the US Moon landings. Borisov affirmed that the lunar soil samples collected by American astronauts during the Apollo missions are genuine and provide undeniable evidence that the landings indeed took place.

Borisov highlighted that these samples, shared with Soviet scientists by NASA, have been rigorously analyzed and verified. “According to the expertise of our Academy of Sciences, the lunar soil turned out to be lunar indeed,” he stated. The Roscosmos chief emphasized that these samples were not only examined in the USSR but also underwent scrutiny in multiple countries, reinforcing their authenticity.

The statement from Borisov comes as a significant endorsement from a leading space agency, countering long-standing conspiracy theories about the Moon landings. The collaborative scientific efforts between the US and Soviet Union during the space race era serve as a testament to the legitimacy of the Apollo missions, according to Borisov.
