It\u2019s not impossible, but it\u2019s very unlikely,\u201d he said, adding that he was willing to comply with the National Marine Fisheries\u2019 requirements but on condition that they provide him with the relevant shark data for analysis.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>However, according to Musk, the agency said that it could not provide the data. <em>\u201cAnd they said: \u2018We could give the data to our Western division, but we don\u2019t trust them\u2019\u2026 Am I in a comedy sketch here?\u201d<\/em> the tycoon wondered aloud, adding that Space X later managed to get its hands on the relevant data after all, and was able to provide all the necessary assurances.<\/p>\n<p>        <span><strong>Read more<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>            <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rt.com\/news\/604938-spacex-delivers-cosmonaut-iss\/\">SpaceX delivers cosmonaut to orbit (VIDEO)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, the saga did not end there, according to Musk, as the federal government found another cause for environmental concern. <em>\u201c\u2018Well, what about whales?\u2019 When you look at the picture of the Pacific, what percentage of surface area do you see as \u2018whale\u2019? Honestly, if the ship did hit a whale, the whale had it coming, because the odds are so low,\u201d<\/em> he joked, adding that subsequent analysis found that <em>\u201cwhales will be fine, too.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s just one crazy thing after another. I\u2019m really feeling the pain of overregulation,\u201d<\/em> Musk lamented, pointing out that numerous government agencies have overlapping jurisdictions. <em>\u201cWe\u2019ve got to stop this madness. Because we won\u2019t be able to get anything done.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Space X managed to catch its rapidly-descending Starship booster rocket during a test flight, a feat widely seen as a major step toward making the device fully reusable. The splashdown remains, however, a much more common and easily executed landing procedure.<\/p>\n<p>Musk endorsed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump following the apparent assassination attempt on the candidate in July, donating tens of millions of dollars to his campaign.
